Hi — I’m glad you’re here.

I’m Olga Pertseva, a UX/Product Designer who solves complex problems with a mix of engineer’s logic, artist’s intuition, and empath’s insight.

For over a decade, I’ve designed digital products across startups, enterprise platforms, e-commerce, and beyond — always focused on simplifying complexity, improving everyday interactions, and helping people achieve their goals with less friction and more confidence.

Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats — often all at once. From building and leading design teams to taking full ownership as a team of one, I’ve designed products from the ground up — often in complex, fast-moving environments — leading everything from early research and problem framing to UX strategy, interaction design, and turning insights into product decisions.

How I work

I solve complex problems by balancing systematic thinking with deep human understanding. My process begins with exploring the human story and real problems behind every interface, then builds structure around the messy reality of how things actually work.

Start With People

To design something meaningful, I need to understand not just the business goals, but the human story behind the interface. Real empathy means digging into context, listening deeply, and questioning assumptions before jumping to solutions. I uncover what people actually need, not what we think they need.

Think By Making

Once I know the story, I shift to hands-on exploration: rapid prototypes, user interviews, data analysis, and iterative testing — whatever brings clarity fastest. I'm flexible in tools but structured in thinking. The goal is always the same: test assumptions, measure impact, iterate fast.

Build Together

I involve developers, stakeholders, and users from the start. I believe ideas sharpen through friction, and good UX happens when everyone's part of the conversation. I adapt my approach to match the context — whether that's conducting field research with end users or presenting to execs, I adapt to the room.

Outside of UX

Design grounds me in logic and systems. Drawing lets me explore the messy, funny, human side of things — a space where not everything has to make sense to feel true. I create playful, sometimes absurd illustrations to stay curious, emotionally connected, and creatively balanced. It reminds me that good design doesn’t always have to be serious to make an impact.
